Regarding the notion of a "play-pen" or "guardrails"...
What exactly do these guys think the Biden administration want to do that they are unable to?
Claim #1: the Biden admin "has absolutely no access to intelligence". Are there any specific examples of this?
Claim #2: the Biden admin has "virtually no ability to command the military". Big claim - are there any concrete examples?
Why is Devolution necessary when the country is already protected by: the US Constitution, separation of powers (5-4 majority SC), US laws, IG oversight of federal agencies, congressional oversight of executive branch, UCMJ, etc.
Did you notice during Trump’s admin that the alphabet agencies didn’t exactly follow the commands of the president? Did you notice that the president doesn’t control the administrative agencies (supposedly the executive branch, but in reality an unconstitutional fourth branch of government) at all? This has been a problem for over 100 years. Have you not noticed all the things the “Biden administration” has tried to do that they’ve failed at, or changed course 180 degrees in less than a month?
They attempted to impeach The Commander in Chief of the military because he wanted to go against the guidance of a colonel.
The constitution is only as good as the people honoring it. Congressional oversight is only as good as the honor of Congress.
Most inarguably, separation of powers hasn’t existed for decades. You seem to have some catching up to do on the true nature of some of these issues before I can try to answer your question.
