I often wonder this as well , the DS may take them out and put in a similar looking demon that they can control better . If I had to chose I would say the DS replaces them for more obedient shells rather then they were executed at Gitmo . I wish they were executed, however they are still causing major genocide and other horrible atrocities so they are still alive or similar more usable lackeys have taken their place . !
