Several agencies report 911 down statewide

The City of Sioux Falls announced on Wednesday night that Metro Communications is unable to receive 911 calls in Minnehaha County and Sioux Falls as of around 8:50 p.m.

April 19, 2024....Outage that dropped 911 calls in 3 states caused by light pole installation: Reports The outage took place in Nevada, South Dakota and Nebraska and lasted for two hours in some states......USA Today headline.
