Holy Father, some days are more hectic than others, yesterday was one of these. I praise You to inspire me never to look back at such situations before they are ultimately dealt with. Today is much calmer than yesterday was and I can onlypraise You for blessing me with all the focus and serenity I needed to achieve what was to be done. I pray I can always keep in mind to always look for the inspiration You are so generous providing to me.

Today we celebrate Saint George.

George was executed by decapitation on 23 April 303. A witness of his suffering convinced Empress Alexandra of Rome to become a Christian as well, so she joined George in martyrdom. His body was buried in Lydda, where Christians soon came to honour him as a martyr.
