I disagree with the Castro comment. It was the the CIA that wanted to keep Castro in power and they did for over 50 years. Now they have his son destroying Canada.🇨🇦
...the CIA hated Castro, he wouldn't play ball with them...
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was anti-Castro and made multiple unsuccessful attempts to assassinate Fidel Castro between 1960 and 1965. The CIA also tried to undermine Castro's public appeal in 1960 with Operation Mongoose, which included plans to sabotage his speeches and change his appearance. In March 1960, President Eisenhower approved the Bay of Pigs program, which trained a small army to invade Cuba and overthrow Castro in favor of a non-communist government. The US viewed Castro as a security threat due to Cuba's alliance with the Soviet Union, a fear that was confirmed during the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962.
...they supported him in the early years, but when he came into power and burned them, he was persona non grata ...
…they could have done it any time they wanted, but instead they used Castro as an asset. Without him, they couldn’t have created the missile crisis in 62. In post revolution Cuba between 59 and 70, Castro had less than 1% of the protection a US President had.
