And I've read that it's possible that the "Semites" were actually the people traditionally living south of Israel (and not in it). So, it's interesting to consider what's up with her possibly coded explanation.
A semite is anybody who speaks a semitic language. And what a lot of people don't consider is, both Hebrews and Arabs are semites. Remember, they both descended from the same father. Arch enemies.
