You're kidding right? Sub saharan Africa has preposterous amounts of resources. It's why when the Dutch settled south africa (settled mind you, not colonized since it was largely uninhabited) they produced massive amounts of wealth from their farms and ranches then even more when diamonds were discovered. They didnt even have to dig for them. The Kimber pike was exposed and insanely large diamonds were washed down the river. The blacks who lived in the area had never thought to pick up any of the stones and try polishing them.

The whites turned Rhodesia into the bread basket of africa. Once Zimbabwe stole all the land from the whites they starved. The land is boutiful IF you can produce with it.
