I’m gonna hold mine, they said we have 5 years before they turn worthless. When DJT goes up in price, you can trade it in for 11.50 per share. Who knows how high DJT might go. Might lose money too, but I think it will go up as Nunes next project is supposed to be a streaming network of some kind.
Do be aware that under the current tax code, the price difference between the stock price and the sum of the cost basis and strike price is counted as income tax.
So if you bought and exercised a warrant today, ~54 dollars for DJT minus the combined 21.50 for 1 DJTWW plus 11.50 for the strike price would be ~21 dollars counted for the sake of income tax.
I wasn’t aware of that, thanks for the info. Fortunately for me, I only bought 100 Warrants. I put more into the basic stock, but still, thanks for educating me on that.
But why not convert it to stock so that you have it available when shit hits the fan. You stand to lose nothing by converting it to stock. I want my in stock for these very reasons. We'll always be able to turn them into stock for $11.50 so why not do it now and get ahead of the crowd.
I guess I should consider it, the pros and cons of it. At this point, right now it’s up 14.59% on todays gain.
I know fren, and we're going to make some money because of it. I only got 47 warrants but I'm happy just playing around with that until it goes to the moon and then I'm cashing out and going to a beach somewhere along the Meditterranian.
Call your broker to be sure, but I belive the company needs to approve the conversion first.
I turned it over to my husband and said "get me my stock." I'll leave the rest up to him.
