BOY Scouts were built to make 'city' boys into MEN. To hunt, fish, cook, camp and survive. It no longer exists.

Speaking as a long time adult scout volunteer here.. the boys (youth) in scouting don't care about the adult politics around name changes etc. Talk is cheap, if you really care about the youth, start a troop in your area and run it the way you want to. You can make it boy only... or whatever. When adults walk away from scouting for ANY reason, you are hurting the boys. Dare you to step up and make difference in your area. GO VOLUNTEER.

Deep Scouting leadership needs to be completely replaced if they want to survive. It’s a travesty what they’ve done to a once fine organization.
