I recall reading that by 65, 1/3 of us are dead. I tried to find the statistics again, but I came up with this, https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvsr/nvsr72/nvsr72-12.pdf, table B, that says about 80% of us are left at 65.

I was able to find this from SSA and they're showing in 2020 it is about 22% of men and only 13% of women will die before 65, so more like 1 in just shy of 6.
