I'm am blown away they have FBI agents who go along with this shit. Engage via liaison relationships? Does this mean they have a SSS inside trumps team they are "friendly" with?

No. It means the DOJ and the FBI have established liaison relationships. It means they have people who can answer questions or negotiate issues if they arise.
