In my area, i wonder if my local butcher is getting his meats from big meat companies. Something he said where he said he is "always at the warehouse".
I wondered why he needs to go to a warehouse for his products. Where does the meat come from, are his meats just a more expensive version of the super market quality. I support his buisness cause i make every effort to shop local.
In my area there are many farms with not only dairy cows but cattle for meat. We also have a large livestock business just down the road from me. The Amish live around me and raise not only cattle, but sheep, goats and hogs. I'm sure most of our meat is local and only the stores like Walmart, Kroger, and Food Lion have theirs shipped in. The meat I buy all look and taste like they should. Unless something changes, I will continue to buy from the local butcher or the Amish butcher; whichever one I get the best bargain from at the time.
I go to the local butcher or to an Amish butcher nearby. No water in their products.
