Should we be voting early or in person in November?
🗣️ DISCUSSION 💬
Pros and cons with each and I think it may depend on a state by state basis. Maricopa county pedes should maybe vote early due to shenanigan's. Somewhere in rural Ohio it wouldn't matter as much. We really don't want to play our hands where the dems can count ballots ahead of time and "adjust." But at the same time there can be a last minute false flag or something happens where we cannot go to vote.
There shouldn't even be such a thing as "early voting" IMO. One day to vote, one day to count. Plain and simple.
every other country does it
I did a quick search.
Iceland, Portugal, Slovenia, Canada, Mexico, Lithuania, Belarus, Russia, Switzerland, Norway, Thailand, Japan, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, and Latvia offer early voting to all voters.
Needs to be a federal holiday too, so no one is working that day. Businesses either must close or allow ample time for workers to vote.
I agree. That is a must.
I believe it is already law that you must have enough time off to vote. Otherwise that is election interference.
Only in some states. Here are the rules, state by state: https://www.dorsey.com/~/media/files/newsresources/publications/2008/10/employee-time-off-on-election-day-a-statebystate__/files/election-guide/fileattachment/election-guide.pdf
