Hang on. Doesn't the Senate have to pass it too and then the resident sign it into law?
Yes. What I heard, but since house is already putting out a bill to block it, senate is not going to be able to pass this CBDC.
Eth nor bitcoin has regulatory approval, Hinman just came out in a speech and said we don’t see them as securities while he was getting paid to promote them
Did you see ETH ETF?
They are only making that law to protect themselves from the public using CBDC to track the spending of our tax dollars with phone apps in real time.
As if those assholes actually care about public privacy- the same assholes who just expanded warrantless searches against US citizens, and have allowed countless govt. privacy abuses to go unpunished.
But, that's ok. The majority of govt. spending is still done through digital transactions. All we need is the app to track that spending. Let's see which politician leads that agenda.
