Not that I would blame you for wanting to stay as far away from this kind of weaponized hate as possible, for the sake of your own mental health, but with the election looming in November it’s something I don’t feel I have the luxury to ignore. Or in the simplest terms: When the next Jan. 6 happens, I would prefer to have an idea of what kinds of insane beliefs are driving it.

We just hate what Jesus hates.

Revelation 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.

Revelation 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.

The Nicolaitanes are just what their name implies, to rule the people, they rule with doctrine and law.

Jesus hates the doctrines and deeds of the Nicolaitanes, and so do I.

God hates with perfect hatred. We can, and must, aspire to that perfect state of hate, albeit that it is beyond human capacity.

Also, it's worth being specific- Nicolaitanes are adulterers and gluttons. Anyone who is these things must be spiritually despised.
