Not quite. I used to live in beautiful Oregon when it was beautiful. Voting is done in one day and you show up with a picture id (driver license, student id, worker scan card or whatever with picture on), then you have to show your voter's id also. Now, if you lost your voter's id, you will need to bring in a passport, your birth certificate or your naturalization card.
