Psychopaths and psychopathic behavior have very little self-awareness, let alone shame. The insane cretins who run our government and corporate institutions are selfish (and somewhat stupid) at their core. They actually believe they are superior and have the ability to create their own reality via lies and manipulations. Like the crazy Transpeople they purportedly support, they also think they can change their identities and rules whenever it suits a desired aim, no matter what they said or actually did in the past that conflicts with their present goals.
