Exactly. The only reason FOIA would even be needed is if the government was working AGAINST the people instead of FOR the people. FOIA is a desperate attempt by the slaves at a semblance of non-corruption in the government that rules their lives.
FOIA the shit out of the contents. Not that they're not already known. But it is then legal evidence that can be used in lawsuits, other proceedings like congressional committees, that you can then present to your congressional rep publicly.
When this is over, FOIA needs to be made irrelevant by making government transparent. We shouldn't have to sue to see government documents.
