Company that bred beagles for research pleads guilty to neglect, ordered to pay record $35M fine
A company that bred beagles for medical research has agreed to pay a record $35 million as part of a criminal plea admitting it neglected thousands of dogs at its breeding facility in rural Virginia.
Sick! No one should be experimented on, yet here we are!
It's just true tragedy.
My 2 yr old beagle is so vocal, while tracking a scent, when she wants to go for a ride & can’t…wants food, very vocal, very loving, sweet, love her! Only evil removes the vocal cords and then experiments…..special place in hell for those who did/do this!
Anybody who experiment on innocent victims like kids or dogs deserve a special place in hell.

Love it.
As I often tell my wife, after reading yet another pit-bull story: "How many fatal beagle maulings have you ever heard of, in the news? Close to zero?"
We rescued a little male beagle from the pound in Northern VA several years back, poor little guy was skinny as a bone, constantly shivering, scared of his own shadow, and (we found out later, hidden by the local dog pound) prone to seizures. He had never seen a flight of stairs before, I don't think he had ever seen grass, didn't ever play with toys, loud noises always bothered him, but yet when we brought him home, he was the happiest, most lovingest little guy you could have ever hoped for.
He did get to chase a few squirrels in the backyard, flush a few crows, and was confounded by a master bunny who could literally run circles around him before escaping between the slats in the fence.
He could have been a cosmetics research beagle, or something, but we gave him about 10 happy years in our home and backyard before cancer and the seizures got to him. Still miss him.
They do have annoying bark but all dogs are innocent. I fostered before and all my dogs came from rescue. Got an 18 years old boy from Bakersfield. A dingo who escape at every chance but he always know how to climb the fence and came back. Now he is a little old and chubby and cannot climb any more (either that or just lazy). He still walk and hike with us for 6-8 miles without trouble.
A Rottweiler came to us last May because he was a small puppy in my neighbor's yard. Neighbor had to fed milk and then handed him to us because he is a long haul trucker and he hauled 2 dogs in the truck already. We took him and he is such a loyal and lovely thing.
If we could poll the Dogs they might say, too late jack! and who gets the f----g 35mil? a screwed up govt. agency! So what do you suppose Biden will use that for!
