He was the only General to land on D-Day and also the oldest person to land. He led from the front. Since he was a General, he wound up taking forces to Germany. Two weeks after Germany fell, he died in France. He had heart problems and a variety of other problems. President Roosevelt also had a pilot son who was shot down and killed in World War I.
it says he died in 1944 but the reich did not fall until 1945, so you are off. Quentin Roosevelt was moved from his grave in the village he was shot down at to be buried next to his brother
