Yes! "Wheat Belly" details studies of "ancient wheat" versus "modern wheat" and the chemical effects between the two. I read it a few years ago, even bought cookbooks, etc., to offset the CRAP sold in grocery stores.
Ancient wheat is good for you - our current wheat, if genetically modifed, is NOT - causes increased obesity and harm to overall health. It also graphs the levels of obesity since the change in diet from ancient wheat to gmo.
We make our own bread, sadly, ancient wheat is hard to find. At least we can leave out the chemicals added.
