Is it a thing in organized crime investigations where they offer a plea deal to only charge you with the " minor stuff" in return for ratting out your boss? Anybody think that might be what's going on here? Maybe from an optimistic perspective they only got him with these Mickey mouse charges in order to prosecute the big guy and take the whole organization down. I mean they still have to charge him or with something so that it doesn't look entirely too fishy, but I remember a scene from The sopranos where they busted three guys and one guy got let out on bail or something and that guy was the rat. I feel like if anybody would be a rat it would be Hunter Biden.
