The ban was imposed by the Trump administration after the accessory was used during the 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas.

Analysts said it was a ruling against regulators who make up the laws instead of Congress who is supposed to make the laws.

ATF's rule making is the biggest active threat to national gun rights, Congress hasn't had the political will to enact anything for decades now.
