I've always had a side that leaned toward procrastination, but never to the point that I seem physically, mentally unable to take care of business.
For example, I still have a number of task not started, or unfinished that I need to complete to protect my property, family wellbeing, in the event of civil unrest.
I have done somethings, but I am very frustrated that I am having such difficulty getting key important task completed. "You fucking had the chance and failed them", is how I will feel if I don't complete these things.
I am hesitant to blame what might be pure sorry ass laziness on some outside force, but damn it man, I swear I seem to be under the influence of some bad mojo, and was just wondering if I was alone in this.
We bought the Sidekick solar generator from 4Patriots and it came with a free solar panel. It has plug ins for your cell phone as well. I think it only has the watts to run a refrigerator about 9 hours as it is the small one. The large generator is large enough to possibly run your lights, refrigerator and other appliances (not an electric stove) for quite some time. I wish now I had bought mine from PatriotSupply.com as their generators are quite a bit larger in wattage for the same price. But my husband got confused at what I said and ordered from the wrong company. It's okay, at least we have something to listen to the radio, run our small camper for some time if we have to go to our Militia Team, and whatever else we may need. It sounds like you've got your plan well laid out.
Thanks for the tip on generator from PatriotSupply.com. I'll have to check them out.
So there is not motor in generator right, it just sits in sun and charges a battery that delivers x number of KW of power when needed?
Yes. You can charge it with the solar panel outside and then bring it inside and hook up what you want to it. No worries about carbon monoxide as it doesn't emit anything. It's just like a giant battery. Good luck. The Side Kick (small one) cost my husband $500 plus tax with free solar panel. The big one at MyPatriot.com is a 2200x or something like that for about $2000 plus tax and free solar panel. While 4Patriots.com has a big one that is only a 2000x (don't know if that stands for wattage or what as I'm not electrical) but it sells for the same amount of $2000 plus tax. So you get more power for the same price through MyPatriots. You can also get a credit/payment plan for anything you may need at this time and they will set it up for you as they know people are hurting from inflation. That's with MyPatriots.com. They also have solar ovens, heater/stove combo's (bought one) water filtration systems and of course food that lasts 25 years. Good luck my friend.
I always pay cash for everything I buy, or I don't buy it.
I'll look into it, and let you know if I buy. The only thing that would keep me from buying is if I found out they were not very durable i.e. lasted only a short number of hours before having to be replaced.
It would be good to have a battery unit that could be brought inside during night hours. Important to keep low profile at all times. Do not advertise you have any electricity, lights, refrigeration especially at night. Hard to do with generator running. Even if you have generator chained down, you don't want bad people swimming by to investigate.
Also my friend, there is a Cool Spring on the mans property where we can dig a hole and place a large cooler for our food (IF) by chance we have no refrigerator. But my husband plans on bringing a gas generator for use in the daytime since we will all be together with other people, and use the solar generator at night for our refrigerator. We're trying to cover all angles.
You are so right my friend. My husband and I do have 2 generators/gas; but we plan on using candles and oil lamps for light at night with blackout curtains. We also use a gas stove with propane in our home. However, we have a camper that we have stocked full of food and emergency medical supplies, candles, an oil lamp, various flash lights and LED lights, extra propane, the MyPatriots stove/heater with the canned heat/4 boxes, makings for 2 different styles of Rocket Stoves, makings for several penny stoves with about 100 bottles of Isopropyl alcohol, 2 large 36 gallon trash cans/new and a tarp to catch rain water in for bathing/cleaning and maybe have to boil later once we run out of bottled water. And of course the Side Kick solar generator. The camper is for our hide out with the Veteran Marine and his mother who have a Militia set up on a road nearby us. My husband who is a former Army Sargeant also has been buying extra weapons and ammo. So hopefully we are all set to go. Good luck my friend.
