The part about Canada and South Africa.
And the US...
Why did you link an article you didn't bother to read?
All you did by sharing that link was to support my argument. Do you realize that?
Edited to add:
This is exactly why I post the things I do. I'm trying to get people to improve the quality of their discussions/arguments when they're trying to redpill normies or they're trying to knock some liberal down a peg or two.
Imagine if I were a normie, having this same discussion. And you dropped in a link to an article that flat out says you are wrong and the normie was right. You've just lost any sort of respectability and credibility you had with them. Why would they bother listening to anything you say now?
Lots of Anons need to up their game when it comes to this stuff. A lot.
I read the article. Where did you see that I did not read the article.
The ancient democracy in Greece is different than where we are today. They do not vote in their representatives. They get a lottery system. It's more random chance (without cheating that is). And those representatives only get one term.
Where are we today with Schumer and Pelosi?
That's democracy back then.
We are not.
By you saying "No. I didn't see any of that." about a significant chunk of the article you posted.
Do you still not understand that there are different forms of democracy? That a direct democracy isn't the same as a representative democracy?
Yes, classical Athenian democracy of Ancient Greece is different from the representative democracy we have here today.
I didn't see part of your reply. I saw that now. I do understand about the Athenian democracy is different than what we have today.
Maybe we should go back to Athenian Democracy if we want democracy. Our form of democracy does not work right now. It sounds good on paper.
