HARSH REALITY -
- A nation in tatters, weary and worn. Where wealthy feast, yet the poor are left torn.
- The opulent grow richer, their pockets now swell. While the destitute whisper through their living hell.
- Youth held captive on islands of gold, Judicial secrets leaving clients untold.
- Horrors kept hidden, justice unsung, Though peasants wait in line for their turn to be hung.
- Victims once hopeful, by this system betrayed. In depths of despair, their fates are now weighed.
- Awaiting the noose, in shadows they stand. A grim dance of fate, at society's hand.
- Praying for the people. For all of us.

Oh hell. It looks like the depression is here. In my county, we have a wonderful food bank that is church based. We get grants, buy staples at wholesale, do gleaning, have gardens, pick up all the food at pull dates from the grocery stores, and hand it out. The criterion for joining is that you live in the county. If other counties don't have something like that, they should start one. I think it will keep people alive and give them something to be grateful for.
