More accurately stated: What if we invaded Cuba and Russia came to its assistance, and Cuba launched a Russian-supplied missile into Florida with the help of reconnaissance from Russian aircraft? I think you'll find you get different answers if that's the only question asked. I don't doubt there's some misconduct happening, but at the end of the day, Russia is the one that invaded Ukraine. Regardless of whether they felt threatened or not, Ukraine is a free country and has the right to choose its alliances.

What if Russia spent a decade putting military bases on Cuba and teaching them to fight America and then sponsored and pushed through a coup to put a rabidly psycho anti-American communist into power and then upped the ante by increasing funding with more and more weapons and then America invaded Cuba to put the obvious and evident military threat out of commission and Russia spent hundreds of billions of dollars in equipment keeping the Cuban army going for years on life support with the goal of killing as many Americans as possible and then finally provided long-range missiles and Cuba launched a Russian-supplied missile into Florida with the help of reconnaissance from Russian aircraft?
