Or we could just use oil and gas instead of so called green energy that has a tendency to crap out when you need it most. Also, if AOC is for it, I’m automatically against it.

Hell no. The Texas electric grid belongs to the people of Texas. I don't recall the constitution granting the federal government any say in matters such as this.
