Project2025? Any insights?

Got into a "discussion" with an office liberal who thinks Trump is Satan reincarnate. Like most attempts at reasoning with them, it went nowhere. She implored me to please look up project2025 and then discuss it with her. I am reasonable so I agreed.
I did a brief search online as I had never heard of project2025. I was amazed at the flood of articles and videos about it. I also noticed they ALL were from msm and majorly left leaning pundits.
Has anyone looked into this before and can give a synopsis of what is going on? Almost seems like a major foothold on the minds of people that may be a reason that they wont listen to logical thinking.
Misinformation campaign this widespread that I have never even heard of? Disturbing.
A lot of my libtard "friends" on Fakebook have had their panties in a twist complaining about how Trump is leading project 2025 and we're all doomed. 🙄 I had never heard of it, either, until they kept mentioning it and comparing it to Hitler. A little research about how it's for less government, and the fact the libtards hate it, makes it sound good. 🤷♀️
Sounds like the "Christian Nationalist Plot" my one remaining liberal acquaintance talked of months ago. Everyone at the table (whom he seems to forget are MAGA) laughed and I even asked him if he was a flat Earther now just to troll his ass. He never brought it up again.
this is the first i've heard of this as well. does anyone know where it originated from and who the author is?
I see the Heritage Foundation spoke about alot. I am not familiar.

I checked out the domain on the ICANN lookup, and it's all "data redacted"...not sure if that's common?
