My guess is that they finally realize that WE see it. No amount of cover up, excuses, accusing us of lying about him is going to make this go away. WE SEE IT and many of us have seen it all along. Now, more people have woken up after the debate. We saw the Mighty vs the Weak and they can no longer say, "oh, look here not there"! The actor did a fine job!
