The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 on Friday that it is not "cruel and unusual punishment" under the Eighth Amendment to arrest homeless people.

It still is a thing. Try sleeping in your vehicle in a parking lot, for instance or a park. In most towns you'll be fined or at the very least told to move along. I know from personal experience. 🐸
