Others say that is made up. It is hard to believe there would be that many people (50,000!) let alone christians there at that time.

That link does not prove the original posted video is a "falsehood". I can't vouch either way, but the argument in the link is weak at best.
"Moreover, throughout Moroccan history there have never been any huge slaughters of Christians."
History is written by the victors
"It is extremely unlikely that a Muslim ruler would slaughter mass numbers of “People of the Book"
Conjecture... there were many slaughters of christians by muslims and vice versa.
It's hard to "prove" much of anything at all. All we can do is consider evidence. You think there is evidence of an early massive christian city where Fez Morocco now stands?
I know absolutely nothing about morrocan history. But, saying it is unlikely that there was a 50K christian population at some time is meaningless conjecture.
I do. Saw Patton.
I am saying there appears to be no evidence of that. Study up and show me a shred of evidence if you think you can.
What is the largest slaughter of christians in morocco you have found other than this fez claim?
The point is that we don't know if there was or wasn't a christian slaughter by muslims in Fez, Morrocco during the 7th and 8th century. The original video posted lays a claim that there was such a slaughter.
The point that actually makes sense is there is no evidence of such a thing happening.
