The other issue here is that the past candidates were all uni-party people. It didn't matter who won, because no matter what, the deep state wins. Either candidate would advance globalism and the military industrial complex. All while providing cover for their other nefarious operations. So there was nothing to gain for the candidates to be nasty with each other. They were already on the same team.
