This is dumb. Why 1.33 pounds?? If 1.33 pounds is 50% more, wouldn’t that apply to any weight? Why even use a weight? 50% more is 50% more. Sorry for the useless rant.
Easy way to see how much things went up, is to click on "order again" at your favorite store and see what you paid for it a few years ago, and see what the total is now, the store will sell the same order to you.

That's probably the average amount used in a cookout. They are trying to put it in terms everyone can understand.
