I guess I just don't understand the problem. The ears and the chins are quite different. Maybe it's just me...

His right ear is attached while his left is detached. It's been this way for awhile and is still the case.

People look different in different pictures for a lot of reasons. He got plastic surgery for one thing which gave him 'pixie ears' the surgeons call it, at least on the right side.
