Just wondering if there has been an uptick in anyone's area. Our son, E., and 2 of our grandsons have had cellulitis w/in the past 4 months. E. almost lost his leg. We had never heard of anyone getting cellulitis and now 3 in our family? Usually, it affects people with weakened immune systems and all 3 are very healthy. Just weird
Wondering if the Covid vaxx could have anything to do with it. Neither my son nor the parents of our grandchildren would probably tell us if they had been vaxxed because they know we'd get upset.
Yes, covid vax will make you more susceptible to illnesses like cellulitis and will exacerbate the severity of it.
I know someone whom after the vax had issues with cellulitis. Eventually ended up nosediving with sepsis. Barely kept alive from that event and was more or less vegetative and on dialysis in the aftermath (although the drugs given masked that it was brain damage for sometime). Eventually had a heart attack (possibly due to brain damage progressing to things shutting down), he was really already gone and once life support was removed, it was over in minutes.
Wow, I am so sorry. We were really worried that our son would either lose his leg or die from the infection. He received massive doses of IV antibiotics for 2 weeks. That was another worry- what would the effects of those doses do? So far, so good, please God.
