RIP beautiful soul 🕯️🕯️🙏. For some reason I always thought undine53 was a man
She would have made a KICKASS man.
Kek!
That means LOL!
How do you get from lol to kek? I could understand if it was kik as that is one over on the keyboard but I never understood kek.
The origin of kek.
The term “kek” has multiple origins and meanings. Here are the most significant ones:
Kek (mythology): In ancient Egyptian mythology, Kek was a god of darkness, chaos, and the primordial waters. He was often depicted as a frog-headed god or a cat-headed god.
World of Warcraft: In the online multiplayer game World of Warcraft, “kek” is a translation of the acronym “LOL” (laugh out loud) when reading text written by members of the Horde faction as an Alliance player. This is because the game’s in-game translator renders the text in a cryptic form based on Korean, and “LOL” is translated as “kek”.
Starcraft: The onomatopoeia “kekeke” in the real-time strategy game Starcraft is equivalent to “hahaha” in English. This is because the game originally did not support the Korean language, and the sound “kekeke” was used to represent laughter.
Korean language: The sound “kekeke” is also equivalent to “hahaha” in Korean, and is used to represent laughter. This is because the Korean language uses the letter combination “ㅋ” to represent the “k” sound, which is similar to the sound of stifled laughter.

It's the Egyptian frog god of meme magic or something like that. You'd have to ask the far autists on the 4chan board where it originated.
Memes are those ideas encapsulated in a few words or pictures which can spread as if they were a virus taking an iconoclastic idea with them and propagating it.
Memes are cheap way for a distributed group to make something which can challenge million-pound focus-grouped propaganda designed to befuddle people which can be cut through like a sword with the cognitive dissonance generated by a well placed meme. The most successful memes propagate the best. It's a little part of the information war.
The word "kek" references the humour in the information war. It's our slang.
