Texas needs to work on its power grid. We have had Cat 1 hurricanes hit here and never lose power. Maybe the Islands of Tybee, but that is about it. Our areas always cut trees away from power lines and build even more sturdy lines that will not topple in the high winds. A Cat 1 is a really bad summer thunderstorm here.

I don't understand the logic here. It's an area where hurricanes occur, yet they build houses out of wood and install power lines above ground. wtf?
