Hey all,
My father appears to have contracted pyorrhea. The gums look pale and receding. He’s tried a week of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquin for a brush with a different illness (got over that fast) but his gums and jaw still hurt. Unfortunately he eats sugar like an ant and like many on said drug it’s very hard to get off.
Anyone know best treatment for Pyorrhea? He’s going to see his dentist but for a variety of reasons can’t until next week.
Prayers welcome and encouraged.
After seeing a dentist and possibly a course of antibiotics and antiseptic rinse…In addition to the astute comments on oil pulling, flossing, brushing after any sugary snack or meal, I encourage you to consider dental probiotics. Prodentis and one other proprietary product (I wanna say BLIS K12?) are possibly the most studied.
