I've tried to use Public Square. IMHO, the site sucks ass. It should be product-oriented, like Amazon and Ebay, but instead it's seller-focused. I found it a waste of time every time I tried to use it.
I agree it isn't great, but it is unfair to expect them to be as polished as Amazon or eBay, who have both been around for decades and have infinite money for site development.
I just think pushing you to sellers rather than products is a bad idea. Public Square is even worse than Etsy when you're trying to find something.
I really want to like/use them, but it feels like they don't want my business. Being rural with limited local options, I'd love an alternative to Amazon/ebay.
Yep - I tried them out and couldn’t find any of the things I wanted. It is a poor platform. Wish I could use them but living in a remote area, unfortunately Amazon does drive me a better experience. I just weed through all the cheap Chinese shit to find American made products.
I've been making an effort not to buy stuff from Amazon if I can get it elsewhere.
I've purchased a few things from public square, but also local stores.

It is a start. Their budget is probably almost zero.
Walmart.com They ship the stuff to you. It arrives in 2-3 days.

public square is good if everything they said is true. I am putting my business there.
