I have been taking berberine for 6 months and decided to take a 2 week break. I could definitely tell that it curbed my appetite when I took it and I didn't have the urge to snack and I lost some weight. Being off 2 weeks that snack monster was sitting on my shoulder again. Started taking it again today.
Yes, I do feel less desire to snack between meals after going up to 1000mg/day. I'm trying 1500mg/day now to see if I bust through this current fat-loss plateau plus reintroduced 3000mg/day of CLA. I still feel hungry sometimes but it's easier to ignore it.
