It is an Asherah pole, mentioned hundreds of times in the Old Testament. The Pagan religions worshiped demons (gods) and the Asherah pole was an idol of a female demon. God commanded the Israelites to destroy all of them throughout history. Witnessing the rise of these ancient symbols in modern times should be a wake-up call that this is a war between good and evil.
