I'm mad at the secret service leadership and the military (by extension , Q team) for dropping the ball here and that's putting it lightly.

Not sure, but just playing devil's advocate: how would you do it for the movies? Blood packet, pop gun, etc. Not saying I believe that, just studying scenarios.
