There are a number of comments claiming for some reason that Trump all of a sudden believes in God when he's consistently shown his belief in God.

It’s not that he didn’t believe in a God, but likely he is seeing that God is in control and not him now. There’s a difference with turning your life over to a more powerful being than thinking youre powerful enough on your own. If there was a tipping point at all, this would be it.
