VP is practically a useless position. They lead side projects, cast the deciding vote in congress, and give speeches. As long as they carry the state they are from and Trump trusts them, then that's good enough for me. Give the great people the important positions.
Uh, there's a habit of the Deep State putting their guy as VP in order to "monitor" a good president and have as a backup in case the president gets off their agenda.
If you can't trust President Trump to pick his own VP then why trust him at all?
