This line of though is all bs propaganda by politicians. Trump can do whatever he wants. He brakes the rules all the time and afterward people accept it can be done. He has a reason for selecting Vance but it is not because he is the best fit or bc people will not vote for Trump otherwise. People who are going to vote for Trump are going to vote for Trump anyway.
