Just doing some digging - all the press keeps calling him a firefighter but that was volunteer work, He worked for a very important plastics company.

ARPLANK, our sustainable material made out of expanded polyethylene, EPE is a highly resilient closed cell bead foam product. In Europe, it contains 30% recycled content to form an end product that is 100% recyclable.
