There is probably a multitude of symbolisms in the pyramid we often see.
One would be the eye, another is that it is separated from the bottom and only the top has the eye. So, only the top of the pyramid sees everything.
They showed it cut off - maybe a sign that the ‘top’ is out of power / removed! - hopeful
