I know there are blueanon lurkers here, as well as some anti-Trumpers on the right who believe the assassination attempt was staged (fake).
So for those mentioned, I would very much like to know how you explain some of the following inconsistencies to justify your position:
- Why would Biden's SS work with Trump to make him look good?
- Why did Trump react exactly as someone who WASN'T expecting the shot would react? (Someone expecting it would have immediately reacted to the shooting, not check his ear and take a couple beats before realizing what had just happened. So was he just pretending to be an awful actor when appearing on Fresh Prince, but all this time was actually the greatest actor to ever live?)
- Why would he use/frame a registered Republican?
- Why on earth would Trump agree to let a shooter, whether a 20 year old Fudd or a trained sniper, shoot at his ear from over 100 yards?
- If Trump wasn't shot, why would he allow any shooter to fire in his direction into the crowd from over 100 yards?
- If there was no shooter, how do you explain the family of the "crisis actor" stating that Biden tried to call, but Trump had not made contact with them yet, potentially making Trump look bad?
- If this was all so masterfully staged, why wouldn't every shooting be just as staged?
The mods here sometimes don't take kindly to "outsiders" posting here, but I think this is an important discussion to have, and it certainly can't be had on most other platforms. If you're worried about a ban, feel free to message your response directly.
For the rest, please add any other obvious points I've missed that contradict the "staged" theory.
I wouldn't say it was staged, but if I did think that I would reply like this:
Now, I realise you maybe would not be very satisfied with those answers, best I can do playing devils advocate.
Appreciate the response.
I think #3 doesn't make sense for a staged event to which Trump is party, because what exactly would he need "cover" from? He was either hired by, framed by, or coaxed into it by Trump's people (under this belief). Registering republican would only give fuel to the left, which doesn't really aid Trump at all.
#6 Also doesn't really add up from a "Trump planned it himself" belief, because based on the public statements of the Biden admin (which was much before the interview), their position would clearly not be to refuse to offer condolences to the victim's family. This again, does not favor Trump.
