Think about the timing of the assassination. It was right before the RNC convention were Trump was to be nominated. Trump had not yet named his VP. This would be the last shot anyone could take before Trump officially became the nominee. All of Trump's delegates would be released and their would be chaos and a fight for the nomination. Nikki's brother, I think, several months ago on x indicated that they weren't done fighting yet even though Nikki had lost. It was only recently she released her delegates to Trump.
We know several Rino's/Establishment Republicans despise Trump and would rather he not be the nominee. They also dislike his pick for VP. Think of all the donors and money spent against Trump in the primary; think of who those people were supporting. First it was Desantis, then it was Nikki. These are some things to think about. What do you guys think?
